Sleep is a primal need, as important, if not more, than eating and moving. If we don’t get a good night’s sleep, our body cannot function in the way it should. That has a knock on effect on inflammation, pain, anxiety, decision making, emotions, and also the choices we make in terms of our other primal needs, like what foods we eat and what energy we have to exercise… getting your sleep right is the foundation of health.

So why do many of us struggle with sleep? Because we’re expecting to just ‘turn off’ despite being in an overstimulated nervous system state when we go to bed… that’s not how we work.

If you expect to have a busy day, full of action, movement, stress, challenges, ‘on the go’ all the time, and then just hit the hay and fall straight asleep, you’ve been fed a lie. Your brain doesn’t work like that, your body doesn’t work like that. There’s not an on and off switch like a toy. We work in rhythmns and cycles and training. We have to train our bodies to sleep.

So what’s the solution?

This session is a combination of bedtime stories (written by myself), crystalline sound healing (which is like magic for the brain), and hushed lullabies creating repetition and safety through the voice. It’s adult bedtime to get you back into a healthy routine and a good night’s sleep.

These sleep time sessions for adults are hosted online so you can even do them from the comfort of your bed. You’ll get the best experience through a laptop with headphones, something you can then just shut at the end… if you do it on your phone, you’re likely to go down the scroll hole at the end… not a pattern we want before bed.

Everyone is capable of getting a good night’s sleep. There’s no such thing as bad sleep being a generational thing… but there is such a thing as bad habits being passed down., and inherited nervous system responses…
