Markets Environment Human Design: Survival Kit

markets environment human design

The markets environment in human design is all about freshness. Keeping things fresh and exciting. Making sure life, people, places haven’t gone stale because when they go stale, the markets environment person gets malnourished.

There’s a natural transference that happens between the hardscapes and the landscapes, and in this case, Markets and Valleys. When the markets person isn’t aligned, they flee to the Valleys. They learn the lesson in the valleys and then they come back into the market. It works the other way around too, where Valleys hide in the markets.

Anyway. With that in mind, how can the markets environment in human design stay aligned day to day in their environment? Let’s have a look…

Markets Environment Human Design Survival Kit

  1. Subscription to trend-led magazine of your choice

The markets environment in human design is ALL about what’s hot and what’s not. It’s taste when it’s in the digestion variable, so there’s a bit sense of ‘what’s my taste’ or ‘what do I like, and what don’t I like?’ you know? To stay up to date consider subscribing to a trend-led magazine of your choice. It doesn’t have to be fashion related, it can be anything you’re interested in, but something where you can follow the seasonality of what’s happening around you.

  2. Online shopping apps - especially ones where you can score a bargain or haggle a price

Markets love a bargain, they love a haggle, they love an exchange in some way. They’re all about bringing the exchange and the seasonality into their world in all that they do. So look, window shopping or actual shopping, online or in person, are going to be great ways to get your system nourished and in the right sort of ‘vibe’ for exchanging.

  3. Lunchbox with lots of compartments for on the go - mix and match your food!

Kitchens love snacks too… but this is all about having a little something fresh to dip into and feed yourself with fresh energy. Consider fruits and veggies on the go that you know are fresh so when you’re feeling a bit blue you can have a much on something fresh. Literally putting something fresh into your system when you’re surrounded by stagnancy. While I’m on it, fresh food is a must for markets variables. If you’re eating anything that’s stale or stagnant or old or unfresh, it’s going to really affect your energy body. Observe it, you’ll see!

  4. Seasonal wardrobes - ditch the capsule wardrobe

Capsule wardrobes aren’t going to work for markets people. They just aren’t. Don’t even bother. Why? Because markets environment in human design need to have seasonal and fresh produce. That might mean you have a summer and winter wardrobe, or you might be more into the fast fashion, I’m not going to judge here. But whether you change you whole wardrobe each season or just the colour of your shoes and scarves, there’s really something in this need to keep your wardrobe fresh. How might you play with that?

  5. Visits to florists, green-grocers, farmers markets and butchers to keep everything fresh and seasonal

Where can you find fresh, tasty products? From fresh food to fresh coffee, newly opened establishments to places with more fresh air. Fresh cocktails rather than bottled beers. Fresh oysters rather than re-heated fish. You get the picture right? It’s all about fresh. Fresh flowers, fresh fruit, fresh veg. Work this not just into your diet but into your rituals. Do you pass a greengrocers every day on the way back from work but still shop at Tescos? You’ll likely feeling a bit malnourished as a markets person. Work in fresh and tasty elements into your little daily rituals. Fresh coffee in a morning rather than nescafe original. You get the picture by now I’m sure!
