What causes breast cancer?

Are we looking in the wrong place?

I’m no stranger to these sorts of deep, philosophical questions. What causes breast cancer being one of them. But in all honesty, my work explores the whole vast of illnesses, which is most of them, that doctors and scientists don’t seem to have a damn clue what’s causing them, but know how to treat them.

Me? I’m not happy with that. I want to know WHY. My hypothesis for all illnesses (my own included), is ‘if our bodies are designed to heal themselves, what’s going so wrong!? Now, we can take old age out of this equation. We’re not designed to live forever. Earth is a physical plane, as we’re designed to come in and out not just stick around for all of eternity. We almost need the pressure of time to push us along our journey somewhat. But when people are getting ill before their time, what’s THAT all about?

Not one to just accept ‘that’s how it is’ I went digging for some patterns, and here’s what I found…

So, what causes breast cancer!?

For a very long time, I’ve believed there is no random coincidence in illness.

I would sit in readings and listen to story, after story, after story. All recounting a similar theme. “I had this happen to me, I moved on, and then I got this illness, and it feels like I’m being punished.” Let me stop you right there. Your body is not a machine. You can’t throw trauma at it, and expect it to keep moving without issue. Much like a car, your body needs servicing, and that usually requires support. Afterall, how many people do their own servicing!? You’ve got your own blind spots, and you don’t want it to cost you a fortune, so if you did, you’d probably overlook what others would want to change/clean/replace.

Anyway, enough of analogies.

I set about to find a mystical pattern.

The first set of work I came across was Louise Hay. Within her well established books, she writes “Breast Problems: A refusal to nourish the self. Putting everyone else first.” It’s a place to start. If the breasts are linked to nurturing, love and heart, what does an illness there tell you about the patterns you yourself have been repeating? (THIS IS A NO SHAME ZONE, and I invite you to compassionate reflection).

Then I stumbled across Inna Segal, who talks about breast cancer as “as a lack of nurturing… believing you don’t deserve to receive.” So I invite you again to question, where have I been putting myself the bottom of the pile, and what stories, beliefs or habits have I picked up that support that viewpoint, even if I don’t actively think that? Basically, where have I abandoned myself?

THEN a couple of years ago, I found Vaness Henrys work, which set me off on a much more solid pattern of work. Vaness’ work continues down the rabbit hole of undefined centres being the root of cancer. Undefined centres, by the way in human design, are centres that are open to our environment, people, beliefs around us. They are full of conditioning often. And whilst that was indeed a pattern I saw, I also wasn’t convinced it was detailed enough. I wanted to see patterns, solid, patterns.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago. I headed to Woolsthorpe Manor, in Lincolnshire, which is the home of Isaac Newton. For those who aren’t familiar, he was a phsycist, asking questions that everyone else seemed happy to not understand. His theories of gravity and laws of motion, changed the world as we know it. Where most people would see an apple fall from a tree and say ‘well that’s just how it is,’ Isaac Newton asked ‘but WHY is it that way?’ And that’s really where I’m going with this…

The Breast Cancer Pattern in Human Design

There are two parts to this.

Firstly, there is an undefined ego or G Centre.

Secondly, there is an activation of one of the gates WITHIN those centres (whether defined or undefined) at the exact time a prominent return/opposition or opening square is happening in that persons astrological chart.

Let me provide some examples…

Kylie Minogue - diagnosed with breast cancer aged 36. Within her chart, she has an undefined G centre. TICK.

This is the age of a nodal return in the birth chart.

Her nodal return happened in gate 51 which is in the ego reaching to the G centre, and is the gate of shocks and awakenings.

What was her north node trying to communicate with her at the time? Was this a course correction? The north node carries an invitation of discomfort to be able to challenge yourself in a way you never would have before to build willpower and strength.

Sheryl Crow - Sheryl’s story echos a LOT of stories I hear. Breast cancer after a huge heartbreak, very close to when she split from the partnership.

Anyway back to the ticklist.

Undefined G centre and Ego. TICK

Got breast cancer at 44 which is the age we have our Pluto opening square, and just after her Neptune opening square. Pluto is populating her gate 40, which sits in her ego. TICK. And Neptune was in gate 1, which sits in her G Centre. TICK

Kathy Bates - diagnosed at 55 years old which was around her nodal return.

Undefined G centre TICK.

As I started to notice the pattern, I was expecting to see Nodes populating those areas in the G centre, which was absolutely what I saw. North node and South Node in gates 1 and 2. Clearing out the energy of unalignment that the body had been holding onto, and clearing the path for the next chapter.

Christina Applegate - another one diagnosed at 36.

Undefined ego. TICK.

This is a time for nodal returns, and both nodes are populated with G centre gates (7 and 13). Another opportunity for a course correction.

Shannon Doherty - diagnosed with breast cancer when she was 44.

Undefined ego. TICK.

Pluto in gate 46, in the G centre. This was a time for her Pluto opening square, and there was the activation in one of the breast centres at the time when I would expect to see it looking at this pattern.

Unfortunately, the cancer returned in October 2020 and 2021 to the liver (which is also G centre related).

This would have made her 50 years of age, the time for her Chiron returns. Chiron sat in 21 in the ego centre, which is the gate of resources, being a resource, or being well resourced yourself.

She also had other gates in G centre populated by Saturn, Mercury, Moon.

When she died at 53, she was experiencing her saturn closing square. Saturn being in the G centre, with gate 2…

This is a small proportion of stories, I have them coming out of my ears, from celebrities and individuals who I read for.

Does it mean if you have an undefined ego or G centre that you’re going to get breast cancer? No. Obviously not.

But what it does mean that with those activations, if you do, there’s an opportunity to really seriously reflect on your beliefs, values and alignment, and come back to asking ‘what is my body trying to tell me?’ Deep down, you know.

Illness is not a random pattern. We are not unlucky.

Illness is the opportunity to realign, should we begin to recognise our own power.

Feel like somethings off? Go to your doctor, begin your treatment, let them heal you physically.

But after that, begin to look at your alignment. Are you truly living in alignment with how your soul is asking you to live?

Or have you moved so far away from who you are, that you needed something shocking or big to shock you back into alignment?

We are not powerless. Infact, we are incredibly powerful when we choose it…
